1 May 2009—The Street Dance Project, started in February, continues.

Over February half term (Monday 16th to Thursday 19th) we ran four days of street dance classes, split into two different age groups 10–14 and 15–18. 27 young people, girls and boys came, and there was a fabulous open evening where they showed off their considerable talents.

The same teacher is now coming regularly on a Monday night to build on the work of half term. From 6–7pm or 7–8pm, depending upon the age, anyone aged over 10 is welcome to drop in and give street dancing a go.

If all goes to plan the older ones will be dancing at our Community Night, Strictly Thornton, on Saturday 13th June and Hannah will be leading street dance for all.
