Sunday Youth and Childrens Ministry
At our 10.15am Sunday service we have groups for
Mini Church for Pre-schoolers
Kids Church for reception to Y5 (with 2 age specific groups)
Youth Church for Y6-13 (with 2 age specific groups)
All groups leave the main service after around 15 minutes and the groups have a mixture of singing, crafts, games and stories and teaching from the Bible. At the end, the children and young people return for communion or to share what we've been up to.
Little Bears, 9:30am Wednesdays
Little bears is a toddler group at 9.30am every Wednesday morning at St Thomas’,SW2 4XW. For parents and carers and their under 5’s.
We begin with a playtime with a good selection of toys , a craft activity, hot drinks and snacks for parents/ carers and a healthy snack time for children,
At 11am we gather for ‘Prayers and Bears’ a short toddler celebration. We sing songs, have a treasure hunt, hear an interactive Bible story and join in some short prayers. Bring your favourite soft toy or bear to come and meet prayer bear.
Teatime Praise, 4.30pm
Teatime Praise is a 30-minute service for families with children (0-10), which takes place 5 times a year.
The service includes songs, prayers, quizzes and teaching from Bible stories and is followed by games, crafts, and tea for the children
Our Teatime Praise in 2017 will be on 5th March with pancakes, 14th May, 29th October ( light party), 3rd December (Advent fair and Christingle service)
Summer Youth Club 2017
This summer we are excited to be running a Summer Youth Club at St Stephen's! There will be a range of activities, such as football, cooking, making music, craft, dance, table tennis, pool table, games and more!
Dates: 1 - 3 August
Time: 2 - 4pm
Ages: School Years 5 - 8
