Sunday Youth and Childrens Ministry
At our 10.15am Sunday service we have groups for
Mini Church for Pre-schoolers
Kids Church for reception to Y5 (with 2 age specific groups)
Youth Church for Y6-13 (with 2 age specific groups)
All groups leave the main service after around 15 minutes and the groups have a mixture of singing, crafts, games and stories and teaching from the Bible. At the end, the children and young people return for communion or to share what we've been up to.
Little Bears, 9:30am Wednesdays
Little bears is a toddler group at 9.30am every Wednesday morning at St Thomas’,SW2 4XW. For parents and carers and their under 5’s.
We begin with a playtime with a good selection of toys , a craft activity, hot drinks and snacks for parents/ carers and a healthy snack time for children,
At 11am we gather for ‘Prayers and Bears’ a short toddler celebration. We sing songs, have a treasure hunt, hear an interactive Bible story and join in some short prayers. Bring your favourite soft toy or bear to come and meet prayer bear.
Parenting Children Course
We are excited to be running the HTB Parenting Children Course. It will be a course of four Tuesday evenings from 7.45-9.30pm with wine and nibbles. The four Tuesdays start on 9th January 2018. This course is suitable for all parents of 0-10 year olds. More information here
It will cover the following subjects, via video and discussion
•Building strong foundations
•Meeting your children's needs
•Setting clear boundaries
•Teaching healthy relationships
If you want to come please sign up here so we have some idea of numbers and do invite friends who you think might be interested. We are hoping to welcome families from our local community who have visited over Christmas.
Parenting For Faith
