Mission Partners
We’ve partnered with some great Christian organisations both locally and further afield. Partnering means we support these organisations financially and in prayer.
Providence House
Providence House is a Christian Mission that has been working among young people and families in the housing estates around Clapham Junction for over 50 years.
Robert and Susan Musgrave have been involved with Providence House for several decades.
Providence House serves the local community through: open youth clubs, children and families work, Sunday mission work, and activities in the local community. On the first Sunday of each month, Providence House holds ‘Sunday First’, an afternoon where everyone, any age, is welcome to join in an informal Christian meeting.
In addition, Providence House runs a programme of residential visits to East Shallowford Farm on Dartmoor, to provide enriching experiences for inner city young people.
Providence House has been supported by the church for over 30 years.

Open Doors
Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term. In the UK and Ireland, Open Doors helps the church to pray, give and speak out for those who share our faith but not our freedom.
The video here shows the "Top 10" countries on Open Doors list where Christians are most persecuted for their faith.

Paul & Ruth Turner
(Latin Link)
Paul and Ruth Turner live in Lima, Peru, working with Latin Link. Ruth was involved in setting up the project for the STwSS Step teams* in 2008 and 2009 before she married Paul. Together they both helped support the team that went out in 2011 and 2014. (*Step teams are short term mission programmes co-ordinated by Latin Link)
Paul is currently involved in developing Christian leaders in Peru through training and mentoring. He works closely with the leaderships of the International School in Arequipa and the Turmanyé (Rainbow) project in Huaraz. He is establishing the Arrow Leadership course for church leaders in Peru with a view to potentially expanding this to other parts of Latin America.
Ruth now serves on the International Core Team where she coordinates the area of member care. Ruth's role involves work on Crisis Management, as well as supporting Latin Link missionaries in areas such as integrated personal development and mentoring. She also works alongside churches and mission agencies in Peru to develop member care resources and training for mission workers sent from Peru.

International China Concern
International China Concern (ICC) is a Christian Development Charity which operates to provide love and opportunity to disabled children and their families in China. This is done in 3 key ways:
Restoring families - the Family Partners Programme ensures parents and families can access the support and therapy needed for Children to thrive.
Serving children without families - Family Style Care is provided for vulnerable children, who would otherwise not experience it.
Equipping Young Adults - ICC provides life skills and vocational training for disabled young adults so that they can fulfill their potential.
STwSS is blessed to partner with this work. Over the past 10 years many members of the church have visited ICC's projects and seen the work first hand.

Mike & Brigit Adams
Mike and Brigit Adams work with the International Team of Far East Broadcasting Co. (FEBC USA), which operates a network of Christian radio stations throughout Asia. They moved to Cambodia in January 2015 to work alongside FEBCambodia, an FM radio station in the capital city of Phnom Penh. Mike is training a local staff member to be the overall Engineering manager there. There is much change going on including a complete rebuild of the studio and offices.
Mike is the International Co-ordinator of First Response Radio (FRR). FRR is a network of radio broadcasters, NGOs and Government partners, and delivers critical information via radio, as aid, to affected communities in the immediate aftermath of disasters. FRR members have responded to over 20 disasters in the last 10 years.
Brigit teaches English to some of the FEBC staff, and accompanies him on many of his travels.
They have been our Mission Partners for over 20 years.
