2 - Application Form

Once you have read the Role Description, please complete the Wednesday Club Team Application Form.

(You will need an email and phone number for two people to be your references when completing this form)

3 - References 

We will now contact your named Referees in relation to your suitability for this role. 

4 - Volunteer Interview & Discussion

Once steps 1-4 are complete and have been processed you will be invited for an interview to discuss the role and your suitability for the role. This interview will be with the Wednesday Club Team Leader and the Ministry Safeguarding Leader.

5 - Safeguarding Awareness

Our church closely follows the guidelines given to us from the Southwark Diocese, 'A Safe Church', in order to protect our children, young people, adults and volunteers.

6 - Safeguarding Training

To keep our ministry as safe as possible we need every member of our Wednesday Club Team to complete the Southwark Diocese Safeguarding Online Training.

7 - Risk Assessments

8 - Agreement

Wednesday Club Team Agreement
Please complete this Team Agreement form, for all team members.
Click here

9 - Approval Letter

Once the steps above have been successfully completed you will receive a letter of approval for starting your role.

(Please note that volunteers cannot begin their role before all the steps above are complete.)

10 - Induction

Once the Wednesday Club Team Leader has confirmed in writing to the PCC that your application process has been approved, you can get started. The Wednesday Club Team Leader will now induct you into your role on the Team.

11 - Three Month Review

After three months we will review how you are getting on in your role and whether both parties feel happy to continue your volunteer role.

We will also have an annual review each year.
